I need 3 cups of coffee and a 200mg caffeine pill to start up my day. I have to wake early too. If the house wakes up 6am, I get up at 4am so I have the edge.

Yes I drink coffee but it really does little for me. Ephedrine used to work but it is no longer over the counter

Modafinil does wonders. It was hard to sleep but awake/alert without the side effects of true stimulants. I don't know how to explain it, it's milder and non pleasurable, but certainly noticeable. The lack of euphoria makes it less addictive, almost non addictive.

Why take meds when you can have your body supply the energy for you. Try intermittent fasting. You'll get loads of energy and it also heals your body.

You said you wanted stimulants, I have amphetamines. Did you want counseling with your drugs or what?

Get a new doctor and have them prescribe you Fen Fen or a derivative of that...

I've never heard of a doctor not prescribing a stimulant due to bi polar disorder...

I could see if you had heart problems otherwise, get some and be awake...

Try a homebrewed tea, strong blend. Take 6 black tea bags, 6 green tea bags. Boil a pot of water, add all the tea bags, let it sit. Add to a gallon pitcher with a shy one cup of sugar and keep in frig. After three weeks you’ll be calm and very active.

My two cents.

Eat better food, eliminate as much processed foods as you can. No more foods with huge lists of ingredients you can barely read or pronounce. No artificial colors, artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners, no HFCS. No More Garbage Toxic Food. I'd also recommend avoiding certain oils, canola, and cottonseed being the most common.

Colon cleansing. Toxins build up, fester and cause all sorts of illness and fatigue. Try P & B shakes (do a search). And enemas or colon hydrotherapy if you're brave enough. I understand the aversion, they are kind of gross, but they really do wonders for people with a toxic colon.

For someone with chronic fatigue, coffee and sugar for energy is a bad idea. It just tends to make things worse.

5-htp can help with mood.

And last but not least EXERCISE. Even if it's just walking around the block. It makes a huge difference, and helps your body function properly.
