Quoting: HAWK-03 A beautiful 1-ton boulder that mysteriously disappeared from a national forest in Arizona weeks ago has returned without an explanation, officials said. The massive stone known as Wizard Rock was located in the Prescott Basin on Friday by an employee of the Prescott National Forest, the United States Department of Agriculture announced. "We are thrilled the Wizard Rock was returned, and are grateful that whoever took it was conscientious enough to give it back to the public," reads a statement from district ranger Sarah Clawson of the Bradshaw Ranger District. There is a wall of those notes in the visitor center/museum there. |
