I was at indoor water park the other day, where you stand in lines on stairs with lots of people in bathing suits.

At one point I looked at my 11-year-old daughter and make her promise me to never get a tattoo and if she is considering it, she must call me, "because you know if these ladies knew what their tattoos would look like now, they'd never have done it."

My late father used to say it should be illegal to tattoo young women. He considered it a life ruiner.

My friends with tatts are doing fine, they would never say they regret them, but I definitely don't regret never getting one.
