The key that lets you know that the impeachment is a hoax and Trump gets reelected | |

Reason: The market is too strong right now. Some call it a bubble, i'm not getting into that distinction argument. But the simple fact is that we've had an almost uninterrupted market gain since 2008. And each year it becomes more and more difficult to avoid a recession. For no other reason than recessions are a normal part of the cycle. Again, we can debate the sustainability of policy, FED involvement etc. But that is actually entirely besides the point. A drop is coming, and it will most likely happen after the next election. So whomever is in office at the time, gets the blame. If a Democrat were to win, and then the market tanks, they'll certainly try the same spiel they did under obama, where nothing wrong was his fault and everything good was his doing. But this time they'll try to do it on the back of an almost unprecedented economic gain. So it will just sound like a bad excuse on repeat. They know this, which is why they're fielding nothing but weak losers. |

Strong losers is all they have. |

Strong losers is all they have. Everything runs in cycles... so predicting an economic downturn at some point is a no brainer. Add the deficit issue and challenges to the dollar hegemony, increases the chance of a depression. However, Obama over regulated the economy to such an extent that it was greatly constricted and was essentially flat over Obama’s 8 years. Trump has not only rolled those regulations back, he has gone much further, and that freed up the economy significantly. So I am not on board with the theory of a 12 year expansion that is due to end.... it is more like a three year expansion with the potential of two to three more years to go. AgileMind |
