Because she told me this directly. I know her quite well, as we meet up in a group now and then for drinks. I never pursued anything in the past because I was in a committed relationship. However, I suppose I’m just quite baffled - she’s stunningly beautiful model looking girl, and also well educated and cool to be around, yet she is still pining over this guy - a guy who said those things about her, and told her directly he wanted someone else so dumped her (if you can call a long distance date an ex). She seems to always go for long distance relationships with guys who are penniless students. A few turned out to be clinically diagnosed with mental problems. She could probably get any guy she wants, but always picks losers who dump her. I guess I’ll just have to let this one go.
