The virus has likely infected 5-8% of the world, and killed 2-4 million people. It’s more widespread than most other viruses and on par with the flu or cold viruses. There is zero chance that we will ever be rid of it. Unless we got a 100% effective vaccine (probably impossible) and spent twenty years vaccinating the world, it’s just a thing now. Forever. Lockdowns made sense in March. They don’t now. Restrictions make sense when hospitals are overwhelmed, but there’s really not much we can do.

We don't want this! It's been a huge problem in Texas for years. Every time the state would try to do something about it, the animal first groups would get loud and the state would back down.

You do not want to run into a full grown feral hog/sow. They will do very serious damage to you, if you survive. They damage crops, livestock, everything they come in contact with.

Scary, just one mutation cycle could make the virus a killer...I really hope that never happens but if it does it will be very fast...so fast that nothing can be done to stop it!

I see I missed getting across my point. First I should have added my post previous to that to it and explained better what I was trying to say.

I, like you, have have a lot of blocked posters so now I see there were many posts between those two but in my mind it was one continuous commentary that were dependent on each other for you to understand what made me laugh.

In no way do I endorse either side in Papi’s posted news and I agree it seems more like a no-win scenario the news shows.

I also think no world leaders have their own country’s problem and it’s silly to compare their mostly none existent success rates.

I am not a rightest. I can’t, nor ever could, stand the Bushes and would not vote for dangerous neocon Republicans. I’m independent and back Trump because I think he’s a great leader despite my complaints and thinking he’s the wrong guy for talk on medicine and other health concerns affecting the country.

With that out of the way, what I was laughing at stems from the previously posted twitter and NBC news about Fauci’s complaining of Trump taking his words out of context.

Please read my response to that news, (which I’ve reposted above for convenience), to understand where I’m coming from so you can understand that my laughing at the second post was about the irony of the obviously left slanted “news” reporting something so trivial while completely ignoring the fact that they are still reporting the “fine people” hoax as real but cannot understand that by reporting the WHO “news”, who are as left as they are with their handling of everything Covid, (except in the eyes of the CCP), they have actually “gaslighted’ their own persuasion position, leftest to leftist, as I was trying to point out in my second post of the two - the one you are commenting on.

So while my probable misrepresentation of my own view is likely at the root of what you are taking issue with in my post I assure you the source of my laughter was aimed at the fake news not realizing the implications, which I was trying to point out in my second post, which struck me as funny.
