Yeah this was one of those circumstances where the plant was reaching out to us even though the failure was in a system that we wouldn't normally work on.

They needed an analog input card for a PLC (industrial computers that control all the automated things in a plant like valves, relays, motor controllers) which I just happened to have since my systems use them too.

I felt pretty guilty up until now that not only am I still working when so many people are up shit's creek without a paddle, but I'm making extra money and doing less work.

But this morning I definitely saved the day, so I think tonight I earned my Tito's even more than usual.
