Lucy is back to hospice angel ranking. She dared to tell me I didn't know what I was feeling/what was going on with my body. I am very very certain she will not make that mistake again. Lucy, for the time I called her that was short for lucifer. I really do not like to be a bitch, I just don't. I was awake all night knowing it was the only way to handle the situation. I did try other ways first. If I do not stick up for me who will? In my life I have always tried to be a voice for those who need one. I hate HATE when people speak and are not heard of worse yet ignored. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and kindness in life. Especially those of us who are weak for what ever reason. I am blessed my father taught me to speak up, taught me that women need balls too. ( yes, he always said women need balls and need to use them) Thanks Dad (RIP)

Also, my dad did drunk singing. Mostly Louis Armstrong, but Frank and Dean and even Ella.... My dad drank scotch, wore a kilt, played a big drum in parades and played harmonica as well. We had Blue Grass weekends that were sooo much fun. Hell, all of the weekends were great! I was a lucky kid

Hello GLP friends

Two things about my time with Lucy today. I love the above quote about lucy. It just became the first/start page of my journal for March, 2020. Thank you. Quite nice to have my ribs hurt for a good reason (laughter) for a change.

My cat Jinxie (She prefers to be called kitty) is the best cat ever. She stole Lucy's pen! She ran off with it. It was great. My husband and I saw her do it. Lucy seemed fairly surprised. Five minutes after the nurse left, kitty brought me the pen. My husband and I had a very good laugh.

Lucy is back to being a hospice angel nurse. Truly, she is. I was very angry she refused to hear what I was telling her. She listened, but did not hear a single word because she went with what she assumed. Too many people listen but don't really hear. I don't believe I will ever have this problem with this particular hospice angel again. Maybe today she learned the importance of hearing, as opposed to just listening.....

I am off to wander GLP a bit more, maybe draw for a while. And I am listening to Elton sing me the full 2 discs of yellow brick road....Thank you for that. And thank you everyone for so much wonderful music...

a few minutes before the showdown today I received I text message from my 14 yr old grandson. Sarcasm, because it's cheaper than murder. How and why did he pick that time to send me that text? Things that make me go hmmmmmm....
