I don't understand the fear I am witnessing

People are anxious and scared, why? I don't feel any sense of panic or urgency. Sure we are jam packed with food, I accidentally bought some plenty pack of toilet paper a couple weeks ago and have only gone through 2 rolls since then. I didn't even have to spend a lot on essentials.

What is it that people are afraid of? Some lady at the food market I went to was just walking up and down the isles, not looking at anything except what was in front of her with 1 package of tp in her cart. She looked completely lost and scared all red in the face and smelled like alcohol and cigarettes.

I get the feeling that people buy so much out of fear but also because they get the feeling that they are no longer in control of their lives. Buying gives that feeling of control of a situation, for as long as that may last. Blah blah blah, psychology.

Fear is the real killer here, the MSM is pumping it like crazy, and it's fucking criminal.

Fear is what's kicking the shit out of our stock market, stampeding sheep into emptying our stores, closing down businesses, industries and everything else we're hearing about, and fucking up our economy, royally.

Fear. Not millions of bodies in the streets and morgues, not emergency rooms overflowing with the dead and dying, but less than 50 dead over the course of multiple months of it's being here, and a whole metric fuckton of FEAR.

Set your fucking TV sets on fire, and stop being scared sheepish pussies for fucks sake.

You don’t understand the gravity of the stituation. Imagine every bed in every hospital filled with a victim. That is what the Italians are experiencing.
Imagine the stores being empty for months because of CV and supply chain issues. Imagine most people being unemployed for months. There’s plenty to be concerned about.
