This guy shot someone in the head from close range. He is walking the streets today. Literally. Have a nice day = GFY. GFY = Go Fuck Yourself. If this offends you then have a nice day. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78633896 United States 03/24/2020 01:33 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | my work is considered "essential" by law. not sure how that is since our devices are elective surgery. they have cancelled all elective surgeries for 30 days. one day we only shipped out 5 of our devices, this was like last week. we are not manufacturing critical items. I understand if they were gloves or medicine or masks but no. Just manufacturing a device that improves, not necessary to live. I keep seeing cyclist going about their daily runs, people walking around like nothing. most are staying home but not all. my girlfriend also called 8 locations that were listed on cdc website that claimed they offered the covid-19 test, all said no we don't do that here and recommended she go to the emergency room (where you can spread it more). Houston is dropping the ball on this. |

LOTS of oil companies and other "Exempt" companies. People will still go to work or work from home. Plus they are keeping parks open, Day care is open.. not quite a lockdown.. I own a manufacturing company in Houston. We are exempt for several reasons. My employees are happy they can keep working. Our customers are very happy too. |

Truthseeker User ID: 78337512 United States 03/24/2020 01:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Houston and all of Harris County is on lockdown. Only essential business to be open but the list is fairly large of what that includes. Parks are closed. No one allowed on playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball etc. boat ramps are closed. Gyms closed. Bars and restaurants closed except for takeout. Grocery stores and pharmacies open. Galveston on lockdown, beaches closed. No road blocks anywhere yet. The lockdown for Harris county is midnight tonight. No more than 2 people outside in a yard and they must be 6 ft apart. Penalties were not discussed and neither was methods of enforcement. |

You had eyes to see, have excellent pattern recognition, and the intelligence to apply that foresight by preparing your company. You are an exception. A blessing of an exception, but still an exception. Too many people have planning horizons that do not extend beyond a week, or two.
