Is anyones life normal right now? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78321357 United States 03/25/2020 06:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Nope. All my classes have been cancelled; gyms closed, can't shop to kill time at a non food or hardware place. Most of my friends are paranoid about getting together. Ridiculous. One would think that we never grew up with a flu season. Something much larger is happening. |

Same with California. Quoting: Irish eyes This is not a Democrat/Republican thing. This is what this fear agenda has set in motion. Your freedom to move about freely has been seriously compromised and it may likely get worse. This is beyond food and toilet paper. There is a feeling of dread that looms over the collective. Well, me and apparently 80% of New Yorkers are considered "essential", so it's off to work every day as usual. Can't go to the movies or to the bar for trivia night, but Ehhh... I'm saving more money than usual. I'm not paranoid...am I? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78685480 Sweden 03/25/2020 06:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Absolutely not. I've been living under a lockdown for 2 weeks already and it's absolutely suffocating. Apart from going to supermarkets (which, strangely enough, have very little people in them) and walking my dogs, there's fuck all that can be done. f.e. You can go jogging, walking, bike riding in this shithole, but using your motorcycle to go for a ride would cost you $350 in fines if they catch you. Sitting outside on a bench or in the grass (no matter if no-one is around) is forbidden. I took my mother to the university hospital today for an MRI after a traumatic brain injury. We went fully dressed with masks, glasses and gloves. But here's the kicker: 80% of the staff and more than half of the visitors didn't wear any protection. This fucking psychotic madness is nauseating. Idiotic nonsensical rules are being enforced, whereas truly necessary measures are being completely neglected. |

User ID: 78473529 Finland 03/25/2020 07:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Things going south. So might as well live in the now and forget about worrying. :) 3 people dead in Finland by now... and logic dictates that the virus has had at least 4, if not 5 months already to do exactly what it wants, quite freely, among all 5 000 000 of us - and the whole country is shut down. I'm not saying that the virus does not exist. Not sure that matters at bloody all. (Except for the ones taking ill, if real. Best wishes of hasty recovery ) I'm saying that it is in-your-face obvious, that something way, way bigger than the disease itself is going on. And I'm a bit ashamed, of what miserable pussies and bloody push-over virtue signalers my once proud Finnish nation has become. Accepting fucking anything, because Big Sister of the NWO FinnSoc says so. That is the real dread I might feel. They will accept anything. And no-one reflects over what it all means and what the new normal will be. Not 1 fellow Finn. I think we might be the most gullible (and well-meaning, sigh) folk on the face of the Earth. A trait being taken foul advantage of to the extreme. Sorry for long on your thread...seems I can't help myself. Last Edited by Accidental Stoner on 03/25/2020 07:20 PM |

We always have a huge stock of food and make most stuff from scratch already. So, yeah. Everyday is just anther normal day for us. |

Look to the horizon and plan the path. Look a few moves ahead... Position your pieces on the chess board. Times like these create great opportunities. We cannot change our environment. My wife is a teacher getting paid and cleaning the house. My business is up significantly with covid19 I cannot complain. We are both young in excellent health and not exposed to many people normally. Fingers crossed this holds up for a bit. Oh and thanks for the SBC disaster loans with a 10k grant tagged on, awesome for a new Escalade I like the 2021 body style. |

Except now I have a grocery order instead of a trip in and a really good excuse to not have to visit other people once a week or say for the millionth time that I'm sorry but I do NOT want to attend some overpriced event, or go to an overpriced bourgeois restaurant. |
