(OP) User ID: 78128369 United States 03/26/2020 09:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ACE inhibitors almost ruined my life. I developed a violent cough for many, many weeks. Then one day I happened to stumble upon a woman's story, on the internet, who was having the same problem as me. So, I got off of them and set up an appointment with a pulmonologist to make sure this was not something else. I passed my pulmonary function test, my chest x-ray was clear and my pulmonary doctor said that it was the ace-inhibitor that I had been taking since June of last year. He then said that with the amount that I had taken it would probably take 6 months to work out of my system....Sigh! Well since then, it has been days of ups and downs. My cough gets better for a while, but if I go out in public, it ramps up again. It is a battle, but with God's help I will get through. However, I have found a new remedy that is safe to control my blood pressure and that is Hawthorne Berry. Since I started it 2 months ago, my blood pressure is perfectly normal. Now, I just have to get through working the ACE inhibitor poison out of my system and what a time to have this happen with COVID-19 running rampart in my city. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78690622 Because many of these medications put out by Big Pharma are poison to begin with. There are many natural remedies. Like I said above, Hawthorne Berry has save me from having a hypertensive crisis and it is all natural. |

If not mistaken there’s something in hawthorn that helps with covid that’s more effective than malaria medicine. There was a thread on it last night |

You did the right thing and in time to hopefully recover 100%. Taking anything prescribed these days is a crap shoot. I've taken myself off plenty, too, due to severe side effects. I will let God decide how long I'm going to live. I've come to terms with that. "Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes" "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear" |

They are sort of interchangeable. My hack (cough) went away. Your doctors should be willing to just switch you to Losartan just by asking.
