Now they say he might not have died from the virus: LA County no longer sure virus killed teen The county’s public health director, Barbara Ferrer, said Wednesday that she’s asked the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to investigate the death of the youth from the desert city of Lancaster. She said that while the child did test positive for the coronavirus, there were “extenuating circumstances that pointed to an alternative diagnosis as well.” [link to www.cleveland19.com (secure)] |

I don't have a medical background, so I'm guessing here but I think that would be more likely to happen in a severe case after a prolonged illness. Would a father sound so sure that it wasn't the virus unless he knew something? Everyone has to use their own best judgement. For me and mine, I'm going to do what I can to keep us healthy and out of the hospital. Could it kill someone I love? Sure it could, especially if they end up in the hospital where medical professionals do not have the proper PPE to treat patients. This is life now. We must all do what we can on our own to stay healthy and pray for this country. We are under a severe attack, and I don't think the primary enemy is a virus. |

People ignorant of complex technologies shouldn't pretend they can comprehend when they don't. When your lungs can't oxygenate, the heart failure. That's how it works. |

It also damaged other internal organs. You need to stop thinking this bio-weapon only goes after the lungs. |

Primary cause is lung compromise, and combination of anoxia and sepsis. The organ failure lesions are secondary to THAt combination of anoxia, hypercapnia, bacterial endotoxin and resultant shock You don't have to agree, but that's the way it is. |

If supposedly 80-85% of people only end up with a mild case and might not even know they have it, then how many such people are walking around right now? Any death then - car wreck, heart attack, stroke, etc. - could be labeled as caused by the coronavirus simply because the person tested positive after death. If they were not displaying symptoms of the virus though how can you say that was the cause of death??? |

This would suggest that, on one hand, the virus is not as dangerous as we thought, but on the other hand, it would also suggest that it has spread far more than we are currently aware of.
