Walmart store in WV with police

This is going to be rolled out at all Wal-Mart stores.

People won’t listen to the social distancing orders, employees are getting sick so staffing is down, all the while people hoard toilet paper. So they are going to temp check people, limit the number of people to a certain percentage of the store’s occupancy then let people in one at a time.

One way aisles are also coming within the next week.

If this doesn’t work general merchandise will be blocked off allowing only food purchases.

If that doesn’t work worst hit stores will only do pickup or close entirely.

People felt it necessary to congregate and socialize. Now employees are sick and they can’t staff the store to stock it.

People have no one to blame but themselves. I personally hope they have to close at least some stores.

After the confrontation I saw at Lowes yesterday between stubborn, single minded customers and store employees, there should have been police there too.

They're trying to enforce 1 entrance door and one exit door so they can count and not exceed X-amount of customers per 1000 square feet floor space. They have to do this since nobody adheres to 6' spacing.

We're a very stubborn lot, set in our ways, thinking we're special. Everyone else be damned and go away.

People don’t get it, these corporations are not going to open themselves to fines and lawsuits.

I have first hand knowledge of the Wal-Mart plan. If people don’t get in line they are prepared to close stores. If things don’t fall in line there are stores that will be closed by this time in two weeks.

I used to work there. I have absolutely zero sympathy for anyone if they do.

Customers think they don’t have to listen. Maybe a “temporarily closed” sign on the door will fix their attitude.

Deffinantly cross lanes location. Was out Corridor G today, was in no mood to even drive by that Wal-Mart, but noticed Best Buy had a similar setup. Canopy by the door, and ropes forming the line, saw no one in line or cars in parking lot though.

All others stores in the plaza were closed or appeared closed. Except for Target and Lowes, they looked like it was a typical sunday business as usual...

People are upset that Wal-Mart is limiting their lawsuit and fine exposure? I don’t blame Wal-Mart. I’d do the same thing if I were them. Entitled whining customers think they know better deserve exactly what they’re getting, they choose to make these retailers big by shopping there, now they’re gonna have to comply. if I were Wal-Mart I’d close all the stores for a month.
