But it's also ridiculous for people to continue attending services with no regard for anyone else's safety. Especially when many churches have already voluntarily switched to live streaming. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77797825 How is it any different from "essential" people going to work? How is it any different from people going to the grocery store? Why is nourishment for the body more important than nourishment for the soul? I won't be attending church service this Sunday but that should be my choice, not the government's choice. The fucking clue is in the term "Public Health"...when it comes to that you don't get a fucking choice OK?. Because if you make the wrong "choice" people will fucking die. Moron |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77797825 STFU. If you've been brainwashed into buying this scamdemic, mind your own damn business and don't leave your house. You and your commie ilk have no right to interfere with the unalienable rights of others and wars have been fought over less. REMEMBER THAT. In his poem Human Pride, Marx admits that his aim is not to improve the world, reform or revolutionize it, but simply to ruin it and enjoy it being ruined: With disdain I will throw my gauntlet full in the face of the world, And see the collapse of this pygmy giant whose fall will not stifle my ardor. Then will I wander godlike and victorious through the ruins of the world And, giving my words an active force, I will feel equal to the Creator. “Looking for consciousness in the brain is like looking in the radio for the announcer.” – Nasseim Haramein, Director of Research for the Resonance Project |

PONTIFICALE ROMANUM JUSSU EDITUM A BENEDICTO XIV ET LEONE XIII RECOGNITUM ET CASTIGATUM DE BENEDICTIONE ARMORUM Pontifex benedicturus arma, quae aliquis ministrorum coram eo tenet, aut supra altare vel aliquam mensam ponuntur, stans sine mitra, dicit: V. Adjutorium nostrum in nomine Domini. R. Qui fecit coelum et terram. V. Dominus vobiscum. R. Et cum spiritu tuo. Oremus. R. Amen. Deinde aspergit ea aqua benedictam They have done the blessing in the parking lot before. They are, in themselves, morally indifferent. They can be blessed. We can ask God to be especially mindful of their safekeeping, for their proper function, that they not be used for evil purposes, and, in the case of your guns, bows, trebuchets, etc., that each projectile fired with them may find your intended marks.” [link to aws1.discourse-cdn.com (secure)] |

My thought is, if you want to attend service - you sorta should self quarantine though ... you're putting a lot of people in potential danger. BUT, reading plates, this is starting to get Orwellian. Quoting: Katipo2017 The ruling allows for drive-in parking service. Why, because your allowed to park in other parking lots if you want. The problem here was that stores parking lots were being treated differently that church parking lots. You can park at Walmart for an hour - no problem. But you can not park at church and listen to a service? When the risk, the situation is exactly the same. The Governor of Kentucky declared open war on Christians. As did the Mayor or Louisville. The vast majority of the states sheriffs would not have followed action as "suggested' by the Governor. I have seen public schools openly pray during events in Kentucky. God is still here. I found it was issued by a neighbor who is a (pissed-off) lawyer. Andy crossed a line he should not have for sure. Legally and support-wise. Here's what the judge said: The judge called the mayor’s decision "stunning" and "beyond all reason, unconstitutional," according to WDRB. "On Holy Thursday, an American mayor criminalized the communal celebration of Easter. That sentence is one that this Court never expected to see outside the pages of a dystopian novel, or perhaps the pages of 'The Onion,'" he said. [link to www.washingtonexaminer.com (secure)] |

Incumbent Repub Bevin had offended about every political base in the state. No one was excited about Beashear - son of former Governor who was AG at the time of the election. But he was supposedly more blue dog Dem and most had had enough of Bevin. Rest of state offices went Republican in election. Even Trump could not pull thing one out for Bevin. Trump came in night before election in Lexington. Probably closed the gap from 10 points to 2 or so. But Bevin had burned so many bridges. |

Drive-thru funeral services already exist. Why can't they change the format for weekly services until the quarantine is lifted? Maybe televangelist can exploit this situation. It's all beyond ridiculous. Last Edited by 75598709 on 04/11/2020 08:54 PM Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better.
