Say you have a plat form with 4 wheels . Then you have a large magnet built into a simple frame chassis.

This magnet chasis has 4 roller bearing legs that ride in 4 tracks on the platform .


This chasis has 4 rubber bands keeping it from simply falling out of the tracks from op-positional magnetic force .


Now you have a similar magnet affixed to the platform on a similar chasis affixed by springs to retract it .


I could be completely off in my train of thought but

If you had a pedal on the platform magnet that forced it forward under spring tension and the forward magnet isnt static fixed to the platform but just roller bearing guides. As the rear magnet pushes forward and repels the forward magnet only attached by 4 rubber bands or even lower tension springs would the forward magnet not pull the plat form by those bands the more you pushed the rear magnet forward increasing the repelling force ?
