Come to think of it, why isn´t the most powerful military in the world helping more out in areas affected by the winter chill?

Generators, food, firewood (tents), water etc...

Or maybe the sheer size of the area impacted is just impractically large to handle?

The Texas Governor is an attorney/politician and it’s the only state not reliant on the federal government for its energy...most likely a political issue being prioritized over the humanitarian issues

plus when there is a disaster or hard core weather people need to take care of them self

I found that out after hurricane Wilma we didnt have electric for close to a month ......and half of that time NO WATER and ice and batteries were hard to find and when you wanted gas you stood in a line a mile long when you got to the front after standing all day in 90 degrees weather you could only get $5.00 worth

I know cause I helped with a food bank for key west all that food was donated and all people working were volunteers


all tho when I went though my ordeal we got NO hand outs NONE we had to fend for our selfs

and oh yah NO cell phone service only lines that worked was landlines

That is hard... True survivalism. Not like camping and hunting. Much more difficult.

Alll states are already under ‘disaster procedures’ and things like emergency services should always be a personal responsibility and then community level response...there are so many private organizations in each state like churches and non profits that take in money on the regular that is supposed to support these kinds of emergencies so what’s going on when a state is under a natural disaster is usually it takes a few days until those local supports are mobilized and can go in to provide that basic support...this is why family units are so important. Too many people now rely on government to be mommy and daddy...but to be fair it’s part of the current indoctrination...

But this is different than the usual emergency...

Hopefully next time they will be better equipped for this type of scenario.

Just saw a video on weather channel where there´s loads of abandoned trucks in the snow down there in the south. Deep snow.

The only way to really prepare for the unknown like a catastrophic weather event is to be fit enough to be mobile and smart enough to GTFO to safety if not able to fortify at home.

in front of my house I have some bushes and plants but nothing is really blooming so i’m not sure why this particular bumblebee is there every single day it just flies back and forth back and forth and he’s pretty big I’m pretty sure it’s the same bumblebee every day it never lands. I walk by it and it flies right in front of me I see its face!!!
