yes, will do. i cant figure out physiologically what the brain freeze is about as i asked several other swimmers if they ever got it in ocean swim and they said no. i had on a latex and neoprene cap. but i literally do have a "cold disease" that effects my circulation.

when i used to lifeguard on the island, we would swim to a sand bar for our am workout, and i knew the water was too cold for me, despite the fact that it wasn't to cold for my fellow guards. i did the swim anyway, and they got to put their life-guarding skills to work as at the end of the swim they had to treat me for hypothermia i was as blue as blueberry.

do you ever swim the corkscrew?

i used to be able to do couple hundred meters underwater, now my skull can't take ressure more than ten ft deep or so.. it cracks and makes strange noises if i go too deep !

you must be tall! i haven't tried to swim 100 m underwater in a long time. sometimes i like talking underwater as i saw what i mean better then.

bout that corkscrew.... my brain oddly freezes on the word "pop" dunno why!

i had a fun dream last night where i was riding around the lazy river, and i loved it because there was noone else there. but there was cat food in the water when i went to get out.

i used to swim in the sea ever year.. i was born close to the atlantic ocean... i grew up in the sea and along the coast like a beach kid... skippers they called us... sand skippers playing in the rocks and walking the headlands and cliffs.. in every weather

used to dive down deep and stand on the ocean floor holding onto the giant kelp and look up at another universe

used to swim for great big spider crabs who hold onto the kelp and it bends down so they have some cover, but we cold find them and take them to the local fish shop on the way home

i even got abducted by ufo clean off a beach one time


my mother would swim straight out, 3 maybe 4 maybe further miles, right out where the big tankers moored up way way deep water... i went a couple times with her.. long way to swim in deep very cold water :-)
