You very well could make it. Tell yourself that. There are 100 year olds that have got it and lived. I believe one was 104. I heard if you get sick take some diuretics to get rid of extra fluid. Have some allergy pills around as that does it also. Take vitamin c. Get out in the sun. Lose weight if you need to and don’t eat a lot of carbs/sugar.

Once you have the virus, you've got it. A mask isn't going to make it worse, its going to protect others from getting it from you.

Yes someone I know on Facebook keeps flashing that they should pay essential worker the extra six hundred dollars. They have done it in a variety of posts. It is making me ill. I am essential, but the place I work at is not open, so I am unemployed and not liking it.

Amp up on high amounts of Vitamin C and D-3, and take a multivitamin with Magnesium.

Drink warm liquids throughout the day. This will help stop creating a habitat for the virus to multiply. No liquids after about 7 pm an you will have problems sleeping.

Many people start feeling sluggish. When exhausted or feeling tired, you become vulnerable to disease. Take B3/6/12. They have awesome little energy shots at all of the dollar type stores. They cost a dollar/no sugar/ and just one cup of caffeine. This virus should be a wake up call to take care of our health. If it is just a terrible flu... attack it... and don’t share...
Apple Cider Vinegar is nasty but works great for preventing disease. I picked up some ACV gummies On Amazon that taste good.

Take Claritin at the first signs of any mucus or cold like symptoms.

There are Darwin Awards for those who will not pay attention to the real threat that a flu can have on your body. Many die from flu every year. Perhaps, this is our big wake up call. Social Distancing and wearing a mask could help but should not be our primary defense. Create a strong immune system. That can only be a good thing.

I can't "remote work" because my boss is very old school, as is the office. Everything is paper, paper and more paper. He honestly doesn't need to be in the office either (he's on the phone 90% of the day) but he refuses to work from home.

We just had a talk and he agreed to try to stay farther back from me such as is possible in this office or I can go out on unpaid leave. He can't wear a mask (refuses) and he can't really social distance but he just doesn't think he needs to. I'm to think about it and let him know what I want to do.

Also I posted a pic of myself wearing a mask on FB last week, which someone showed him (he's not on FB) and was told to take it down because it somehow reflected poorly on our office. I wasn't talking about our office at all. Hi..global pandemic...CDC guidelines.......

PS my husband is a compromised person--hence my worry.

I'm feeling very unsettled right now.

Stores are the worst,people with soaked masks and filthy gloves at the checkout,touching all your items.They are not happy campers and i dont blame them a bit.Dealing with this bullshit for minimum wage.The herd is spooked out there.On the other hand 8000 people a day die in this country,300 a day in my state,105 in my county.One day i will be one of them.

I'm outside Charlotte too, kinda semi-rural. Went to an Ingles that I don't normally go to in Dallas NC on the way back from Hickory and no one wearing a mask. And they all looked at me mockingly for wearing a mask and gloves, I don't care, they can kiss my ass. I have to take care of my health.

Lots of local businesses are risking their employees for Public Image. Really selfish. There certainly is a culture in some areas of Southern Hardheadedness. Since they aren't in my inner circle that's their problem. My life, my decisions, they can't dictate or change my way of doing things. My family comes first.

This is a learning experience. Lack of higher education is showing.

In florida the bigger issue is people areafraid to pull their cars out of the garage to go to work where the repo man canget them. No pay for 6 weeks. Unprocessed unemploymemt. It is bad.

I live in Eastern NC and will give update.
Actually can see hospital and Health Dept where they test from my backyard. The testing center has been empty every time I look . I have seen maybe 2 cars most at anytime.
Here's the kicker I had 2 friends that were around a relative who is a nurse who tested positive. One lady is in VERY HIGH category 60 plus and on double kidney transplant list. They both were denied testing and told to go home and quarantine for 2 weeks. The numbers are BS we are being lied too

Not for this virus, wearing a mask ends up spreading it according to these doctors.

It's shocking anyone is telling people to wear masks, it's insanity how stupid people are.

If you have Covid, do not wear a mask, that is going to spread it to other people.

If this was the regular flu, yes, a mask would help prevent others from getting it.

I live in Fort Collins, CO..almost as liberal as Boulder and Denver....every store I go into the sheep are wearing masks...I'm out biking thru open meadows and the sheep are wearing masks...what makes me sad is seeing little 5 year old kids wearing those bloody masks..so sad...

I am unable to grasp why people conflate wearing PPE with "fear". Perhaps it is because they are so frightened they neither want to admit it nor display the evidence of the fear.

I wear PPE and am NOT "afraid" of covid-19. I like to make sense, and to do what is sensible and proactive. Fear is not the reason we purchase auto insurance - we do so just in case, planning ahead. Fear is not the reason we wear rubber boots when going out in deep rainwater - it's to keep our feet dry. Come on, people - get the difference between fear and sensible precautions.

Yes, America does have a few disease-infested, corruptly run hell holes: New York City, Detroit, New Orleans. But sensible people have no intention of visiting hell holes. Indeed, the President would have done well to quarantine the hell holes a month or two ago, so that they couldn't spread their germs across the country at all.

But even today, the current house arrest is utter lunacy for places like Aurora, Illinois, which has 200,000 people but only 7 COVID-19 deaths total (35 deaths per million). Probably sick elderly nursing home residents.
