Yes. The lava tubes under China Lake AFB filled up with lava during the Ridgecrest earthquake. USGS had the next two earthquakes west and in northwest in UT @ depth of 29. A year later the USGS now has changed them to 4s. As if they were aftershocks. The magma plume that was traveling under the ocean crust from the Pacific has just hit land and is applying pressure to the subduction zone. And the plates have been stuck for years, no movement. So when the pressure gets great enough...pushing from the mainland side since that’s the subduction plate and the ocean plate rises up and then the magma gets released. Better watch out for those 11 volcanoes up there in WA.
