Wouldn't that simply mean that the other universe would be totally dark? The light would be there but beings couldn't see it.

If time is not linear, what is it?
A basic physics question; if a particle is at point A at time=0, then travels to point B over D distance and arrives at time=1, calculate the velocity of the particle. This requires linear time.

If time is not linear, the particle could be at points A and B simultaneously, no?

The whole story hinges on the theoretical existence, of a theoretical type of neutrino, that theoretically has too much mass to pass cleanly through the earth, like regular theoretical neutrinos, that have not been proven to exist. So...

A) This special neutrino doesn't actually exist and they are detecting something else altogether.

B) No theoretical particle known as a neutrino of any kind exists, and they are detecting something else.

C) Their equipment is faulty because they have no idea how to detect this theoretical particle, if it even it does actually exist in the first place.

D)The special neutrino can go through the earth regardless of what their theoretical calculations may suggest.

E) Any one of 10,000 more reasonable explanations.

F)A magic dimension where particles age in reverse.
