Just on that one buoy, 41425. All other active buoys show less than 1m of displacement. My friend says it's a glitch. But it looks like a significant glitch.

It even weirder that the data shows it starting just as the earthquake was happening in mexico.

There a three readings for it on the app. I assume that is the quake being detected at different places. They are 7.4, 7.5 and 7.7.

The earthquake hit some remote and very poor municipalities in Oaxaca. There is damage. In the video below at the 41 minute mark it shows a guy poking a long rod into a crack that opened in the lady's house. When he pulls it out, he says it's between 1.2 and 1.3 meters of hollow before he hit the bottom. He appeals for the authorities to send someone. Not sure in what town this is, but there are pics and videos of cracked roads, slides, etc from all over southern Oaxaca on the net. The video is in Spanish, but the images and clips tell the story.

I have to assume there were no casualties in this 7.7 earthquake….and...

Maybe you should seriously consider calling up an exorcist. You seem to be in urgent need of one.
