I say We should raise the price of abortion to subsidize adoptions so those whom are doing wrong are taxed and those whom are doing right are rewarded. The government could also subsidize adoptions so people wanting to adopt don't have to pay an arm and a leg.

About 135,000 children are adopted in the United States each year. Of non-stepparent adoptions, about 59 percent are from the child welfare (or foster) system, 26 percent are from other countries, and 15 percent are voluntarily relinquished American babies.

Your 1 million number is insanely wrong. There are only 4 million babies born total in the US each year.

There are an estimated 2 million families that would adopt an infant if given a chance. 20K babies per year. Do the math.

You can rationalize any way you want, but if a baby is not aborted and instead put up for adoption, there is a 99.9% chance the baby would be adopted immediately.
