It was a violation of a Treaty, the United States violated an Indian Treaty signed by the Indian Nations, and the US Government. Today the Supreme Court found that the US Government violated those Treaties.

Treaties have always been supreme to other laws. This decision says the government must honor it's treaties.
I live in Oklahoma, have views on both sides of the argument. The United States Government signed those treaties. It’s about time the Government righted a wrong. I’m about as Conservative as you can get. It is the right thing to do. The Government had run the Indian from one state to another, then to another. Time to make it right.
