83% of LA Teachers Vote to Stay Closed in Fall – Will Not Open Schools Unless Charter Schools are Closed and Police are Defunded

United Teachers Los Angeles, a 35,000-strong union in the Los Angeles Unified School District, made those demands in a policy paper it released this week. The organization called on local authorities to “keep school campuses closed when the semester begins on Aug. 18.”

The union outlined numerous major provisions it says will be necessary to reopen schools again, including sequestering students in small groups throughout the school day, providing students with masks and other forms of protective equipment, and re-designing school layouts in order to facilitate “social distancing.”

Yet the union goes even farther than those requests, calling for “local support” in the form of defunded police departments and the shuttering of charter schools.

They're all against us, they always have been. There hasn't been any legitimate education in most schools for decades. It came to an end in Universities in the sixties and in public schools by the early eighties. All of it coincides with taking the pledge of allegiance and religion out of the education system because that coincides with the rise of globalism. There is no right and there is no left, it's people who are for freedom versus people who are for communism and the communists are winning. We can all delude ourselves but the line in the sand was crossed long ago and at this point the globalists are closing in from every corner. When Trump was elected they promised to destroy everything in order to push him out of office and they've certainly made good on that.

In 1933 Hitler appointed Hermann Goring to Minister of the Interior. His first orders were to defund and eliminate the police departments so that they would not interfere with his Brown Shirts whose mission it was to riot, burn, beat up and kill citizens in an effort to sway the elections.

No more property taxes! And sell the schools and give the money BACK to the property tax payers!

Let the children of those economically poor families who live in LA proper NOT be educated ... while the kids in the suburbs around LA proper continue to get a first rate education.

Let LA go back to a time when poor people could not read write or do simple arithmatic!! THAT seems to be the goal of the LA "Teachers".

Is "Public Education" on it's way out? Has it's time passed? I know that here our big city school system is really really bad and those who manage to "graduate" are actually coming out with a "Certificate of Attendance" vs an "Education" (over 1/3 don't even get that).

If you can't pay to live in a nice area OR you can't privately pay for an education there will be NO EDUCATION for your kids if you live in LA!! California LEADS THE WAY for the rest of the nation AGAIN!!
