I asked the health dept in Colorado which mask they recommend for my kid when he gets back from San Diego.

They said they do not recommend anyone that is not acclimated to wear a mask for 4 weeks until they are fully acclimated.

Will they allow a face shield instead of a mask?

Do you have to sign a death waiver also?

Either let them come to school without the face rag, or cancel it. Face it, they aren't learning anything but butt sex, gaylord respeck and communist principles in there anyhow.

local teacher in the salon yesterday told us that after any child uses the restroom, that area must be sanitized and allowed to reset for 8 min before another child can be allowed to follow.

All kids stay in classroom all day-no interaction with anyone outside the 'class family'...

Plus they'll just rub it in the mud and put it back on their face. lol

That was a good one. Most masks reduce O2 concentrations below OSHA standards, lol. They're gonna have fun complying with OSHA.

Get your kids (and yourself) masks that have check valves for free-breathing OUT. The school would be dumb to accept them, but I bet they would be too ignorant to know they would not be effective, as far as your kid breathing OUT. But your kid will be able to exhaust his out going air fully, without having to breathe it back in.

It is easy for parents to make something at home for the kids, NOW YOU ARE ADVOCATING FOR THEM TO HAVE TO GO BUY AN OVERPRICED OSHA APPROVED ONE!

There are plenty of "breathable" mask patterns online that you can make yourself. They don't fit tightly to your nose or mouth and allow for much better breathing ability. Just look for videos for making "breathable masks". They really are easy to breath with.

If anything I will prevail in getting folks to ask good questions. The gal I spoke to seemed worried as she said she was wearing a mask. I said do you know if it is safe? She did not know. She then asked if I was asking this question on behalf of just my own kids or If I was concerned for teachers and staff. I said I was concerned for both my kids and teachers and staff. I told her to put my name on the request for clarity and assured her I was looking out for all kids, teachers and staff. lol. Just think and ask clarifying questions.
