One obese woman was my roommate for awhile and she demanded that I stand by while she took a shower and a thousand other things. I told her I wasn't getting paid to be her nurse, so she got a new roommate. And then she died after going to the hospital daily and being told she was fine. The other obese American was a man, and he also died. I think obesity is a form of suicide, like heavy drinking. When I was growing up there were very few obese people. I recall Baby Flo, an obese black woman we paid money to stare at at the fair. My sister bought a ring from her. There was another obese woman in Boston who squeezed into an Austin Healy every morning. We did not have to pay to see her, and we made up a song about her.
Anyway, people are free to eat or drink themselves to death.
