It is generally agreed upon that abortion sadly is a medical option in rare instances where the mother's life is in danger or in case of rape and the mother has no love for the child.

That being said, what was once a rare procedure has been exploited not only for expediency and monetary gain, but also to avoid responsibility for the pregnancy and the often immortal out of wedlock behavior which brought it about.

Mankind has normalized lunacy and has thus become an irresponsible Steward of life.

Not really an argument FOR, since abortion is tragic all around. The only thing that is really different about the anti-abortionist position is that it seeks to trade in live babies instead of fetuses. Poverty is the real tragedy. Both sides of this argument profit from the destitution and desperation of human mothers.

Antiabortion legislation expedites the process of seizing custody. If poor women are being coerced or intimidated into giving up custody by entities seeking to profit; I believe that is illegal as some form of human trafficking. Yet this profit motive is always present behind those pushing aggressive legislation.

The choice between abortion and adoption isn't a choice. Both destroy the mother. A real choice would be having the choice to abstain from sex and still have a place to sleep at night. A real choice would be to be able to have a baby and still be able to pay the rent.

The real question is how did we all end up dispossessed in our own country? How did so many end up dispossessed after working for multiple generations?? There are no good reasons for wide-spread poverty, but there is profit to be made from it on both sides of the aisle.
