I hate the masks. I am soooo over the masks. It really sucked in the 100+ degree Texas summer temps.

That said, I do wear the blasted thing when I go out. Do not want the corona. Most humans are gross during ordinary times, extra gross now.

If other folks chose not to wear one, I will not be one to hassle them over their choice. One the same note, if someone hassled me over my choice to wear one, they would get a nasty snarl back.

I live in an area that had about 75% compliance initially.

Now, I’d say it’s only about 25%. Personally, I have panic attacks in the stupid masks. I’d be fine if it wasn’t over my nose, but that defeats the “purpose” of wearing the mask.

I just do all my shopping in one place- and while they tell you to wear a mask, they don’t enforce it anymore. People in my area just seem to want to get on with life.

Fuck the mask. Haven't worn one since my job sent me home for being the only person in my department to answer truthfully at the covid tent. A person had it in our department and none of it closed down. I went home for a week came back and realized everyone else lied to stay at work. No mask since and nobody has told me shit. More and more people going maskless since I and a few others decided to say fuck it. 1000s of people work in our plants and not a single death, maybe 12-13 cases, 10 recovered ok days and 2-3 out with very little symptoms. I've known 6 people who have had outside of work, 3 had no symptoms, 2 had mild and 1 had bad symptoms, none lasting longer than a week. Fuck the mask, fuck this shutdown and fuck anyone telling anyone what to wear for their OWN health and safety. If you're a sick and compromised immune system old bitch, stay home or wear the mask for YOUR safety and leave the rest of us alone. Fuck all these governor like Pritzker instituting all the covid rules and fuck these bitch ass companies and law enforcement for not telling him to suck a dick. The flu/covid whatever you want to call it is real, but not as dangerous to everyone as the reaction to it. The mask is a security blanket that rarely anyone knows how to properly wear without creating additional contamination. /Rant

I’d love to see people not wear masks as a group. If over 50% could refuse to wear a mask for say, one week, there is nothing Walmart (or similar) can do. They need the business. Same goes for other places. After a week they will just shut up about the masks because they know the propaganda no on her works. They can’t win physically... way outnumbered

Look for anti mask groups on Facebook for your area. I’m grateful that in the town I moved to there’s only been a little bit of bull shit. I think it depends very much on your local area. One trick is to just wear it to get past the door police. I’ve only worn a mask a few times, but the times that I do, I use a loosely tied bandana so it falls down on its own with just a tilt of my head. Oops.
