You have to look at the matter as though you're not a Trump supporter, and fall into one of the many varying categories that fits that description.

On the one hand, you have a bunch of people on the left who see Trump as the second incarnation of Adolf Hitler. On the other hand, you have a bunch of Government guys who initially supported him and his chaotic approach to Governing, but trillions of dollars down the drain, 220,000 dead bodies, and billions of dollars worth of looted items and destruction later, and many have parted ways.

The top will always be right wing, or even far right wing, but Trump has in reality proved himself to his constituents to be probably one of the great assets to the left who has ever come along.

It will be long after he's gone that the left will only begin to realize he was their best friend. He's no friend of the right at all, none of this is what you voted for, which is why your Republican representatives around him are all starting to jump ship.
