Toilet Paper Run 2.0!!! Shelves are being emptied again

I literally had to club these old ladies clinging on to the toilet paper and hand sanitizer last week. scarcasm.

I knew this was coming with new lockdowns and talk of the trucker strike.

I have been buying one pack every time I went in to the store over the last few weeks.

I am prepared this time.

I still have stocks from Y2K...

I have TP (ok so it's the reserves, but it still works) what I'm worried about is cat/dog food...IDK who is hoarding it but it's ticking me off

there may be a shortage of tp on the shelves. i have inside knowledge on a personal level that at least one tp factory is holding tp back. they must be being paid by someone because they have moved in extreme amounts of portable storage to hold all the tp they are running, no issues at manufacture level, issues with them letting product leave plant. employees do not even has access to purchase.

We have 3 super Walmarts and 2 Albertsons in Las Cruces, NM, yesterday the state department of health closed 1 Walmart and 1 Albertsons until December 2nd.

The lines were extremely long before the closures, can't imagine what they will be like today with Thanksgiving approaching.

Chicago burbs. The TP aisle has never been well stocked since the first scare. Only the rest area quality TP is well stocked.

Me and the wife already divided up the Essentials till spring break up and she flew home for thanks giving this morning and might be missing a few rolls next weekend.

My store, TP and paper towels were fine, Kleenex was the problem.

I have stocked a tiny bit for others in my community as part of my food bank.. just those little packs of 4 small roles were are really cheap at walmart online ..limited to 3 at a time..
