That’s what I was thinking. That “massive armada” looks like a moderate-sized Trump boat parade of fishing boats and small yachts.

One thing that was very telling was Iran just released an Australian citizen who had been held for 2 years on suspicion of being a spy.

The news of her release broke this morning.

Based on this I suspect Iran are doing what they can to earn favor but it may be too late to stop what is coming.

Those small ships might not be able to take a lot of hits before they go down, but they are agile and hard to hit to compensate. And they have a big bite. In numbers they can sink even the largest of ships and be on to the next one in no time.
