Is Louisville on the New Madrid?

No. The New Madrid is about 250 miles west of us. I did check the USGS earthquake map and saw nothing. No news reports or anything other than a bunch people in about a 30 or more mile from downtown. It this was not Fort Knox. Shook the apartment alittle, saw the curtains move.

People seem to think it was from either highway blasting that reflected off low clouds or they think it was training at Ft. Knox.


The latter does not make much sense as the tanks moved Georgia a few years ago. Not sure how much heavy training is done there now.
