And I am a republican, I voted for Trump twice, I'm certainly not mad at him, he wanted to help people, has been trying for months, he wanted to use the money left over from the last bill to get checks out to people, but congress had to keep politicizing every last little damn thing while people out there were losing everything, millions have hit poverty level that didn't use to be poor, millions of businesses destroyed.

This is 100% on Nancy Pelosi and crew. Mitch has some responsibility as well. Trump wanted everyone to get 1200 again originally but Mitch and Nancy killed that and decided to give half the money away to Pakis and Egyptians to buy Aks for Russia.

The $2000 check is pointless. It will do absolutely nothing to change what has happened. Nothing.

People will just blow it on whatever. Sure, some people will take it and make it stretch, but either way, it will do nothing to fix the destruction that has been done over the last 9 months.

Given it would have little impact, and that is only only 50% or less of the overall package, passing will do more damage than not, wasting money we don't have on unnecessary things.
