Well, I don't think you have a complete understanding of what has happened over millennia....but I do get your point, even if I don't like it.

We have become comfortable in our misery.

I have had an OBE into an originally created human body, and there's a vast difference in being. We're barely alive now, compared to how we were created.

I dunno, I just have more compassion than you I think....when Humanity fell we lost ourselves, we lost our "minds." We were in the wrong to begin with, so to speak, but we were created innocent, and we were curious. It's only because of these human attributes that led to the fall....and ain't no joke, we were led.

I just can't muster up disdain for Humanity, at least not those of us with a soul. We got done dirty, but we did let it happen. We did participate in our falling....but enough is enough.

As a whole, we have suffered enough. Or so I think.

Trust me, if I were to have my way, all the "evil" would just be lifted off the planet.

This is a good point.

How much can humans handle?

I often ask myself the same.

Well, we know that the suicide rate grew by leaps and bounds last year, so....yeah, that speaks volumes.

And their goal is depopulation.

Hmmm...
 Quoting: ~Newton's Own~

One pandemic, whether it is a pandemic or not, was all it took to throw us completely out of whack. We're under a big thumb, whether we want to be or not, or whether we do what they say or not. They have "crippled" billions of people with their, "We are all going to die from COVID" bullshit.

I do so wish I were a big enough, strong enough presence to just blow it all out, to rid us of the ill-fated pieces of human garbage....heh, you have no idea how badly I wish I could be that person.

My god, I do so despise these bastards.

It was something I grew up with here in the US, but is not mentioned like it used to be.

I thought for sure it was spelled with a C, though. I do remember it being spelled that way.

I get that too, a lot.

No one knows what to do right now.

This is all so nuts.
 Quoting: ~Newton's Own~

Heh, we need us some Christ to come on down and clean house.

Awww, geez, I'm getting big tears in my eyes with writing that. Damnit.

In case y'all didn't already know it, this that's happening is breaking my heart...probably like so many others. I'm doing my best to stand up on my discontent, to overcome it, but there are moments when it's hard, and I have to fight off sobbing.

And it's not because of politics, it's because of what is happening to Humanity everywhere, to those of us who actually feel our humanity....who actually have some humanity within us. It's heart breaking to watch....especially when you're a Wanderer and System Buster. I don't think yet that we've failed, I can't find anything in me that says it's all over for us....but this is hard.

As a human being and a Wanderer, I want nothing more than to have this reality be hospitable and fair.

Has not Humanity paid enough for falling?....shrug

sigh
 Quoting: cosmicgypsy

Humanity never pays for anything. Scapegoats do. And the fact that humanity was okay with that for so long means that humanity can never pay enough.

I just wanted to pop in to say I'm glad y'all have started this kind of thread again. A bunch of us used to have one and it was the very best. It's locked now, but here's the link if you want to see what us "old ladies" used to klatch about.

Thread: Coffee Klatch

I hope you keep it going for awhile. It's a good thing with all the real world doom right now. There have been several of these kinds of "chat" threads over the years. They last as long as y'all want them to and you'll have friends IRL from them. Promise.

Have fun, y'all!

I have an account but get logged out every few minutes.

I'm happy for your retirement :)

I retired years ago after 24 years and honestly it took me YEARS to get used to it. I felt like I was giving ZERO and it felt EMPTY

For a long time I was able to keep up a routine

However, a few years ago my spouse hurt me badly with a one night stand. I forgave him and for a while I blamed myself....I blamed not getting up everway day and dolling up, I blamed myself for sometime not getting out of my pj' ... not doing my hair or makeup every day ......

However I prayed on it and came to realize that it was not me....I earned the rights to be lazy. I worked since I was 17 years old and took care of a family, etc.

Now I do what I want, when I want. My house is rarely cleaned enough for white glove treatment, my car is now a mess lol from eating in it all the time

But I'm reading a lot, I'm watching movies

I am enjoying myself

BUT

there is still an emptiness there from outside friends...I'm a loner my nature

Good luck with quiting the cigs

I started realizing yesterday and came fully into the knowing today that this thread is filling a void for me.

I'm used to getting up and going to work. I talked to my clients about anything and everything....and it's really quiet in my Lily Pad. I live alone. Well, there's my crap monster cat, but she's quiet, too. Hardly meows a peep...until my son comes over, and she turns into one vicious cat, hissing at him and swatting at him. Lil She is a handful.

Newton has been very kind to keep me company....I wondered this morning if he thinks I might be lonely, but I'm okay.

I just gotta adjust. Thankfully I'm good at that. Can't be in this world and be happy if you can't adjust your brian day in and day out.

So, I won't at all mind keeping it going. I like having my coffee and chatting with my GLP buddies first thing in the morning....hf

You too, Friday's are always good!
 Quoting: ~Newton's Own~

Oh, it's Friday?....chuckle

I woke up this morning and did my 'Where's my run, where am I going....what time is it?' gig I used to do every morning, first thing....heh, I did love my work.

I just had two mornings off from that, but it was back this morning. It's going to take me a spell to get used to not doing my job methinks.

If only she had honored our work agreement, I'd still be working part time. I am missing the traveling.

You know what, Newton? It feels very foreign to me when I say or write, "I am now retired." It's almost like I feel like someone else is saying it....I suppose it's being a little odd knowing I don't have to work for anyone ever again IF I DON'T WANT TO. No more only making money to survive. It's an astonishing feeling, and it keeps going as it's settling in.

Well that and I hadn't actually planned on quitting my job when I did. Quitting had gotten to be in the forefront of my mind for a few months, but I didn't give notice....I just quit.

I feel a little bad for my lack of work ethic, me not giving notice, but I know had I of done that 10+ hour day, my back and hips would've been screamin' at me....scream

Jeebus, I just got it somewhat straightened out after throwing it out a month or so ago. I hurt so bad when it goes out. It's crippling. My spinal doc told me a three week recovery time was awesome, and that usually what I experienced takes 8-10 weeks to recover....I do so love the supplements I take. They are keeping me standing up and moving forward like I want to.

I whole heartedly thank creation for the plant kingdom!

Ooooh, I now have the cash to reorder and stock up on my supplements!....rockon

janice-OMG....I'm just giddy this morning!
 Quoting: cosmicgypsy

I know exactly what you mean.

I quit working 80 hour weeks for others over 10 years ago and started by own little business.

The freedom in that was awesome.

I had severe back pain too about 3 years ago so I understand that.

Went to doc's and they wanted surgery, instead I went to the chiropractor for 2 months, everyday for adjustment.

My back pain just vanished one day.

Completely gone, and I was a big skeptic of chiropractors, lol.

Not so much anymore.
 Quoting: ~Newton's Own~

I went to a Chiropractor once. He wouldn't even touch me, my back was so messed up....my gawd, and I nearly hate physical therapists. The last one had me in tears...the cunt. She so pissed me off with her pushing. I mean, seriously, I think she was the reincarnation of Attila the Hun. Just a mean assed woman. The look on her face was epically nasty.

The thing is, since not working my back pain has vastly improved. I'm really only a little stiff at the end of the day. I guess the doctors and PAs were right about the job, that it was doing me more harm than good....but it was the only job I could do. I sure as hell can't stand on my feet for long periods of time, bad arthritis in my feetses. And then there's my knee....hiding

The work you do really makes a difference. My husband hurt his back years ago working at a steel plant. There's no way he could sit in a car driving all day.

When we moved here, the only job he could find at the time was maintenance at Walmart.

He worked there, sweeping & mopping plus whatever dirty jobs they found for him along the way. He swept with the dust mop in one hand & a cane in the other.

His back still sucks, but he hasn't had to use a cane since about a year after he left the job.

Re: DOOM BREAK: Let's have a good ole fashioned coffee klatch!
...

Yeah, it's not hippy skippy happy, that's for sure. I am so glad I take the supplements I do, they're a saving grace.

I need to make a call on Monday to see about getting that implant put into my right knee, and then I think I'll pretty much be good to go....I need to exercise badly, and quit the smoking of cigs.

I took my first Chantix pill this morning and, believe it or not, I think it's already working. It worked fast last time, too. And these American Spirits I bought yesterday are tasting like crap....charlie YAY!

Welp, I tried offering, I tried yelling the offer....no one wants an upgrade. Jeez.

I stayed up waaay too late last night and I was awake at 5 am, and I am le tired.

I'm going to edit my title again, take the offer down, and maybe try again tomorrow morning.

Have a good night!....flower
