Has Anyone Ever Known Someone Who Openly Admitted to Being A Communist?

I've known several that spewed a lot of communist BS, one said things to me like communism isn't what I think it is. It's not all bad. Yes, they were young and obviously got this from college, so scary stuff, as I've met several young ones that thing it's a great thing.

Yes, I knew this "artist" in Jasper, Ark who was a unapologetic communist and atheist. He was a real nice guy on the surface till you opened the gate with questions about his beliefs.

Anyway I've had some online friends in China over the years.. not even they would define themselves as communist - they are just people tryin' to make a buck and buy fancy shit, like the rest of us.

I met my first Commie back in the late 70's when they were still staying pretty hidden and still smarting from the very public HUAC investigations of the McCarthy-era which I vaguely remember watching on the TV as a kid. When I met that SOB I was 27 at the time and he was in his 60's- and he spent a solid three hours trying to recruit me to the cause before I got up and walked out.

The second one was when I was in my forties; he was a snotty little punk in his 30's that I'd already known for a couple of years - but he kept his politics to himself so I never knew his leanings. Once he pulled out his CPUSA membership card and started his tirade I ordered him out of my house and never saw the miserable Bastard again.

BTW, speaking of the HUAC: did you know that although the original 1950's operation was disbanded by Gerald Ford in 1975, the duties were transferred to the House Judiciary Committee? In 1965 HUAC was given a new name -the "House Committee on Internal Security"- but it's function was supposed to be the same: to stamp out Communism and Fascism in America.

Today the House Judiciary Committee is chaired by Jerry Nadler and his policy of open tolerance is supported by sterling public servants including Sheila Jackson Lee, Hakeem Jeffries, Hank Johnson, Eric Swalwell and Pramila Jayapal. Traitors all in my book.

Is it any wonder that they refuse to incriminate BLM or Antifa? THESE are the people who are supposed to be dedicated to eradicating Communism instead of encouraging it and THEY largely bear the guilt for the proliferation we're witnessing today.

When I was in college every other student had posters of Che Guevara on their dorm room walls and was carrying around copies of Chairman Mao's "Little red Book" so I picked up a copy and read it for myself.

This thought struck me recently.
Just like psychopaths have a short circuiting of the

Say you showed them a picture of Karl Marx and at that moment the scan showed a specific area of the brain light up. Then show them a portrait of George Washington and see what lights up then. With all the effort being put out in mapping the brain it would be very revealing as to who is who. Very 1984 I know....but these creatures hide themselves well.

Nope. Only once when I was very friendly with a teacher so they finally after months and had gained their respect and trust did she admit she was a communist.

She never acknowledged this openly.

Yes I have. About ten years ago I had someone working for me who was constantly on an anti capitalist pro commie rant.

Fo a couple of weeks his overtime was “accidentally” missing from his paycheck.

When he complained I suggested that perhaps it had been redistributed to others who had missed a full week due to being rained out. I explained that’s how communism works.

He was not happy. . I nearly pissed myself laughing.



Update. I saw him several years later and he wAs a more enlightened person.
