California is desperate to open because the EDD fucked up so bad on getting people’s unemployment on time. Billions of dollars in fraudulent claims too. Clown state that’s only dying wish is to become Mexico. California also wants to open up business now so the border can continue to be flooded without it being too obvious with everything shut down, they don’t want people not at work paying attention to that. There is no good reason for this country to be taking in illegals now or ever and people know this.

So what, I live here in SoCal, lost my job because of COVID, even if it opened up full throttle, to what???? The damage is done, we are not coming out of this one, when you paying $6.50 for one 2"x4"x8', and cold rolled steel is now priced at $1.70+ a pound, please, it's more than just getting back to normal, your setup for trying to survive it, right squaters not paying rent? It's a voodoo brew of complete kaos once reality kicks in, what's a mask or no mask for that matter, when you can't afford anything.

With the highest poverty in the nation, California at least has the self-awareness to know that it is about to implode. The state is desperate to get back to normal, but they didn’t get the memo that normal wasn’t normal and there is no going back now. Oh well, shouldn’t have had open borders for 60+ years.
