When I’m at work where I have to wear a mask I pull my mask down anytime I have to sneeze because of my allergies. Who wants to have snot all up in their mask against their face all day? I know it completely defeats the purpose of the useless mask but IDGAF.

I had to explain today for the first time why I'm not getting the "vaccine." I mentioned that, for one thing, it is not in fact a vaccine. The person I was explaining it to agreed and that, well hell, he hadn't thought of that.

This was not a stupid person, but it goes to show the media blitz and social pressuring has been off the charts. I wholeheartedly resent the fuck out of it.

Really the best takeaway for me is that we live in a corporate America. This breeds competition. Therefore if we keep our frame, and refuse the passport, capitalism will take over and demand will increase for non vax stores.

I go to the grocery store without a mask all the time. It’s like social distancing times 20! And I’ve been social distancing long before it became a trend. I can’t stand people. So I kind of like the fact that they part like the Red Sea when I walk through. Doesn’t bother me one bit and I’m certainly not gonna lose any sleep over the fact that somebody doesn’t like me - I don’t give one flying shit! I only had one old lady come up to me before and try chastising me. She said: “sir, you should really think about others before you think about yourself… do you realize that you could get me sick without having a mask on?” I simply said: “ma’am, based on your logic you should then shut the hell up and get away for me, right?” “The more you speak to me, the greater the chance you do get sick.” She gave me one of those old lady surprise looks with her hand over her mouth and then walked away. Fuck that bitch! I don’t agree with the whole control thing and I certainly don’t agree with the fact that they are trying to control us through fear… but the point of it all is lost on me, because I’m not gonna fucking play ball. Today, I encountered a beleaguered Asian pedestrian on a walking/biking trail. I was on a bike, and I did have a toy mask wadded up in my pocket. He was walking, and his mask was pulled down below his chin. At least for a second or two it was, because he dutifully yanked it up over his nose as we passed one another.

Not long after that, I came within theoretical cootie range of two Asian victims who were carrying their purchases to their car in the megamart parking lot. They were masked, but their vulnerable noses were uncovered. Upon seeing me approaching, both of them hurriedly pulled the masks up for maximum protection.

So then I entered the megamart, where they have a guard at the entrance to verify that everyone who enters is wearing a mask. I'd donned my mask at this point, and I always try to make a flamboyant point of creeping furtively through the doorway, hugging the far side (wanna stay as far away as I can from that cootie guard!)

I do pretty much the same at the self-checkout lanes. There's an overseer there, and I don't want to get too close to him or her.

The Asians I encountered were college-age. Not to profile, but I'm inclined to think that these are intelligent young Asians. Or maybe not.

UK here. Unfortunately I’d say 99% of the population where I live (rural farms and villages) wear masks to the local shops and supermarkets. Me and my hubby don’t - we ordered what are called Sunflower lanyards that you wear to indicate you are medically exempt from wearing a mask. So we’ve never worn them, in work or wherever. If you don’t have one, and don’t wear a mask you will literally not get in anywhere. We have guards on the doors stopping anyone trying it. But to be honest the whole population have turned into complete pussies - can’t wait to get their vax, wear masks in their cars etc. It is different in ethnic areas of cities but here in the predominantly white rural areas (where most people are above average intelligence) they have completely succumbed to the propaganda.

Again, it's REQUIRED everywhere in NY State if you want to go into a store - and I haven't seen ONE person refuse in the past year. If they did, they would be removed from the store by security or management.

However, at this point there are massive infections cross demographic in every area. I think masking like it is being used is ridiculous. I can’t tolerate a mask on my face, I have extremely bad sinuses.

I haven’t required my office staff to wear them, we did social distance, check temps and thorough daily cleaning.

I went no where for months because I wasn’t going to mask. I was told I couldn’t enter a grocery store without one. My spouse did the shopping.

I finally ordered a face shield that rests on my chin and covers just above my nose. It is completely strange looking. You can see my entire face. I have had people tell me it isn’t that safe for me. I told them I know but it protects my junk from you. I am in California so it can be militant.

I recently returned to church, it is outside. I am the only one that you can see my face/smile. I was there today, it was hot, everyone masked. I noticed a young girl that was slumped in her chair, mother was trying to get her to sit up. Next thing you know she threw up everywhere, she was so pale. This is so unhealthy in the heat.

I had COVID, it was like a sinus infection for me. Only difference is I lost my ability to smell and I was tired. My smell has only recently returned - gone almost 4 months.

Now I am being asked if I am going to get the vaccine. It is so odd people asking. I explain I have had it, immunity is showing at 6 months and I have never done any meds well. True allergies to things I have taken or bad reactions. I hate that I feel this defensive about it.

I am so sick of this BS, I will probably never travel again. Here many people still wearing them. I rip the shield off the minute I walk out of a place or put it on right before entering a required place.

Yeah. These masks work. I normally get bronchitis at least once a year and a cold or two. I’ve not been sick at all in almost a year and a half.
