You men are amazing

Our two dogs got out and went walk about. we went searching for them, we got home after a long search to find the younger one at home waiting, but the older one was not home. Jaso ( Hubs) looked over her and said, It looks like she has been hit by a car.

So he went out in his ute again driving the streets to look for broken glass or blinker covers. he came back a few moments later, and said the rail;way gate we drove past which was padlocked was open, and a train scared the crap out of him as it slowly glided past his car and sounded its horn.

jaso looked over toby the girl dog who made it home and said, she has been hit, back right leg had two scrapes like bolts had hit her and was swollen but not broken, as she was limping.

Callisi was still missing, and we could not find her, it was getting late.

Early morning today, we went to the pound to see if she maybe was there, no luck, jaso told them he thinks she may of been hit by a train and gave his number just in case. their was a phone number on a tag on her collar. Jaso worked as a teenager for the railway as a station assistant and said, the track inspector will drive the track and if he finds a hit dog, he will take its collar and try to identified the owner.


it was a hot day and I went to find jaso for some lunch. he was slumped over crying his eyes out, when he saw me, he stopped crying and became hard granit again with a yes luv? then he came in for lunch, a quiet lunch. The phone rang and it was another jason from the railway, he said he had a collar with callisi on it, and that he found her dead by the rail line. she was intact, but he said she had been their all night he reckon and was just on the turn of pong.

they both spoke over a can of cocacola when they met out front , and jaso learned where she was near the train line.

the rail worker said that the council would colled the body as it was on rail property, I told jaso that I would make a cross for the location.

it was at night that Jaso drove out the drive in his Utility car, he is a stuborn but true one my jaso. He walked the line with his torch, found her. took off his shirt and layed it over her. walked back to his ute, climbing sharp fences.

drove his ute till he found an open gate and drove up to poor dead girl. he picked her lifeless body up, getting death juices over him. drove her back home into the padoc next door, wrapped her in a tarp, drove his ute back home, hosed it out, took off his clothes as the wash machine is out in the carport, started the wash cycle, and jumped into the shower. he came out, dressed patted toby who is inside sore on some blankets, cracked himself a can of dr pepper, sat down, turned to me and said, we shall bury her tomorrow morning under the tree, put that birthday bottle in the fridge, I'll call some mates over as they know Callisi too, and we will have a pet wake, then a bbq.


I know it is tearing him apart inside, but I have learned the strength in men, strengths we women just don't have.

I am so proud to have him as my hubby. You men are amazing.
