What’s a “618 retrace” ?

It's a number in the Fibonacci sequence.

Basically when price of an asset goes up x%... Then goes down 61.8% of x... That's a 618 retrace.

"Eth will probably run to 10/12k by end of summer."

I keep hearing this above quote and bought in on that notion.

Basically, Phi and all of it's versions of phi...

Are all fibonnaci numbers. The frequency that these numbers appear in our world is frankly, astonishing. They are in sunflowers. They are on snail shells. They are in financial markets. They are in hurricanes. They are in our face.

Basically... it makes me think we live in a simulation a little more with how frequently phi appears in the world. It's down right scary. These numbers are the backbone of how the stock market/crypto market moves as well. It can be mindblowing at times.

That sounds so superstitious and crazy lol. Like I can understand in nature how it is divine but in man made things? And especially a downward trend? Wouldn’t the upward fibonnaci make more sense?? Lol

Yeah... I learned my lesson to always wait for divergence on that. I thought for sure that support/resistance would work out. But the whales had other ideas.

The whole market is fucked until the next low, which will be a gradual dump. Then green light make gains. If you don’t chart or do your own technical analysis, then you’re fucked. XRP, Theta, SHIB swap; are all waiting for the dip.

You could never know everything the way its going to happen.
If that was the case youd be too busy making money to even post in here. and once again. im definitely not mad!!

I definitely agree!

Ethereum posted daily bullish divergence a week or so ago. It posted a 618 retrace a couple days ago. It is posting bullish divergences on the hourly timeframe like crazy. Bitcoin just posted double daily bullish divergence. Basically it's flickering very bullish signals all across the market.

When I was a couple days early on bitcoin a few weeks back I didn't wait for divergence. I got overconfident and assumed a strong support couldn't break.

Basically the lesson is always wait for divergences. No matter what. Always.

Xrp is the one that scares me still. It has yet to post bullish divergence on the rsi. It did post bullish bullish divergence on the Macd. I don't trust Macd bullish divergence as much as rsi divergence. Technically it is in potential bearish divergences on the 4 hour rsi chart right now. This is why I still think another leg down for xrp is still in the cards. Maybe not. But maybe. Still waiting on xrp, personally. I think 55 cents is still possible. Not probably but possible.

Ok cool, so I’m theory we will have warning before a fall? This is good, I’ve beat half my liquid assets in crypto, which is much lol. But I am hopeful for a good turnout. Thanks for posting man, I wouldn’t have even invested this much without your trained eye.

Well I bought in on the Shib launch so I'm laughing longterm holding.

If Xrp hits $3 in next 24 months then it'll be a nice top up.

$3 should be easy in 2 years time! :)

If SHIB hits 10 cents for some weird reason in the next 5 years.. that would be something too. LOL
