At what point does one snap ?
Suppose it's different for each of us.

We all fight battles, some more challenging than others, if you're lucky, you may catch a break before the next hand grenade is lobbed at you. Those breaks are good, it's a reset of sort. What if however there are no breaks, just more hand grenades, day, after day, after day.

At what point does the cumulative effect just become to much, mentally you become trashed, physically your body revolted years ago, yet somehow you push on just because. Long ago hope left you, you've stopped kidding yourself that tomorrow will be better. You still say your prayers, you remain grateful for what you have but you know tomorrow will be just as brutal if not more so.

How many days

You've just perfectly described exactly how the Bible portrays the end day's for all of us.

You must accept all that comes your and never lose your faith.

Keep saying your prayers.

I have learned many years ago that prayers are a total waste of time. Proving this is quite simple when you look at the world and observe the ones who enjoy the greatest most wonderful lives, ruling over us torment filled peons. It is as if the universe gives an abundance of great karma only to the absolute worst of humans. Just observe the world to see this.

I guarantee that nearly every billionaire who would stab their own mother for another dollar isnt wasting their time praying to God for help. But they get it. They get it ALL.

Last year or the year before. No wait, 9/11, or was it the Boston Bombing; May have been Sandy Hook, the Orlando dance club massacre, but certain no later than Las Vegas massacre. But then again, it could have been the Aurora Theater massacre. Yeah, it was one or more of those massacres.

Now I forget how much less shitty things were yesterday, and just enjoy today's shittyness for it's own sake.
Tomorrow, today's descent into less shittyness than tomorrow will bring will not even be a memory.

Re: At what point does one snap ?
A prayer is for your own benefit and growth.

You snap when you surrender the effort. Meds are one way to snap quicker.

A prayer is not what you think it is. It's not a wish list or a begging session. That's not how it works, and it's been adulterated by many.

There is always going to be hope.

There may be a course correction.

Wealth is an illusion. It's too deep to explain here with so much to do. Suffice it to say, there is no greater happiness than simple living and love.

A friend used to say that life is a dogshit sandwich. Sometimes you get more bread than Shit and that's a good day.

I know many who have had their lives change almost overnight. The right people help.

If you cannot want your life, volunteer and allow someone else to benefit from your usefulness until you want it again. Walk dogs at the humane society. Feed people. Lift folks up online. Do something that is not about you.

Stop dwelling on the wounds. Ameliorate them and move on.
