China and Russia are emboldened by the US move as well, which will raise issues elsewhere in the world. Also if things in Afghanistan take a real turn for the worst the USA cannot go in again because the people now have basically been abandoned and simply will not trust the USA or NATO again, it doesn't matter your view on if the USA/NATO should have been in Afghanistan or if they should have left sooner, the issue is the way the USA pulled out, the NATO allies had no choice but to pull out as well. There is no NATO w/o the US (money and forces) so yeah. The British wanted the US to invade Afghanistan (money and forces) because it was the only western country able to do it. Now, everyone is left scrambling as a result. I'm not sure why everyone cares so much about the western interlopers over there. They're all war profiteers and deep state actors; i.e., the enemy of those back home.
