Fake "fact checkers" claim it's out of context or that he mis-spoke. But they can't explain what he was supposedly trying to say.

He's pretty clear about what he's saying.

Yeah so take into consideration the reporter probably gave him the questions in advance; and that he trains for exactly those interviews; that his wardrobe selected for those interviews, down to his glasses frames, is to convey a specific persona, it gets harder and harder to analyze and come to any reasonable conclusions.

The template seems to follow: big important news headline (worry right now!) , followed by a 30-40 min video of someone droning on when they could give the info in 1-2 mins. This is why you're losing the information war. Memes cut through the ADHD and deliver a concise poignant message. No one wants to listen to someone babble on, especially if you aren't attractive or dont have a likeable personality.
