Aww, look at the penquins on the penguin cam!

This storm is interesting. The center is not well-formed, yet it still is strengthening. The forecast track is slowly creeping east, so who knows?

Patience, time will tell the tale.

These are the best live cams I could find at the moment and most have points of reference with clear views.

The gift shop beach cam is interesting The camera moves up and down the beach so that you can see the traffic on the boulevard and the waves are getting quite high.

I'm not from Galveston, but I will spend a few days a year visiting the beach and restaurants.

I have lived there for 22 year off and on. Not there now but going back after the storm. I’ll be moving away soon but I’m sure gonna miss it and my neighbors.

Will I find murky and polluted water there and nasty sand? I'm from Florida and enjoy sparkling white sand and crystal clear water of the "Redneck Riviera" around Sandestin.
