hey OP. if you like the old mexi its a more on the sativa side of the spectrum. most of the heavy hitters are indica. as they have a shoreter flower period which helps the growers in the north but also better for indoor growers. and since alot of the market is focused on thc content the heavy hitters are what fill the market.

to have what you want, autoflower strains are a milder smoke. or you could look for sativas with lower thc content but to find the 1-5% of the 70s will be a bit difficult.

also in the mexi days. they were washing the buds of the crystals to make hash via the use of ice and water.

to make it real simple just take one hit off a pipe and wait 20 minutes. instead of smoking many hits of the strongest stuff and getting too high.
