User ID: 79780291 Chile 10/17/2021 10:19 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If you want to use a basketball as a scale model of Earth you need to understand that for it to spin at the same equivalent speed of Earth, it would also have to spin at 3,125 cm/hour. Just then the radial motion would be properly scaled down. I am using the size 7 basketball measures, with a perimeter of 75 centimeters, and rounding up the duration of the day to 86.400 seconds. You know how when you see a plane flying in the sky and it looks like it’s going really slow? Well the plane is actually flying at over 500 miles per hour. It only looks like it’s going slow because it’s so far away. The videos of the earth from space are all filmed from orbit which means the camera is traveling faster than the rotational speed of the surface of the earth so you can’t film it the same way you can film a basketball spinning on someone’s finger. |

Our crater CREATOR ... We live in a crator that was quarried . Everything has been RAKED out for Gold or Silver ... Who knows what ... Everywhere the water is just HIDES the last civilzations from us . Esspecially the Great lakes of the world . Mars is actually another CRATOR outside our domed crator . The sea turtle depiction of our realm is accurate . The nazi's were the 1st to get high enough to SEE that we INDEED WERE LIVING IN A CRATOR - So they focused on New Swabenland and eventually got there by Submarines . Fucking wild shit . |

You've already stated that whatever is shown to you is all fake. You're the one insisting the earth is flat. I'm willing to believe you if you can show me a picture of any of the 4 edges. What's underneath us then? How does your brain compute this then? China tested a hypersonic missile that orbited the Earth: [link to www.nautiv.com (secure)] (see the word "orbit". They're not referring to the chewing gum ya know.) How about the fact that we know every other planet we've discovered in our solar system is ALL SPHERICAL, yet your dumbass believes the earth is flat. Do you not see the moon when it's out? How about a crescent moon? Ever seen one? Do you know what crescent means? You are so stupid that you're too stupid to see how stupid you are. :idiot: |

I doubt that you’ve ever passed a physics class and so I too some time to thoughtfully elucidate a concept for you. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79336278 United States 10/17/2021 10:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | if you took a ride in any of the rockets, at the apex you'd see firsthand the earth is flat with no curvature. You need to be more than 1-1/2 earth radius altitude before the earth is visible edge-to-edge in your line of sight. At that distance, it may reveal itself to be a donut shape, or a cucumber shape, or maybe even round and flat. The moon looks round and flat, doesn't it? |

Its just spinning for a small distance it seems before the astronauts break thru its force and float. Big ball spinning that fast by itself in a giant float area with occasional other high speed spinning shit. Science yo. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 80421067 Albania 10/17/2021 10:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If the Earth truly were an "oblate spheroid" rotating at 1037 mph at the equator, the centrifugal forces of the edge velocity would tear it to pieces. It's not the "radians per hour" that matters. It's edge velocity. Any honest mechanical engineer will agree. |
