The two Tennessee quakes are connected to the New Madrid. A Arkansas quake too. St. Elmo's fire danced on the mountains at Hot Springs, NC during the big quake.

El Hierro:
The island is almost more remarkable for what it doesn't have than for what it has. With a population of just 11,000 on a surface area half the size of Ibiza, there is very little traffic and development is thin on the ground. Herreños will tell you proudly that their island has no hotel complexes, no buildings higher than two storeys, no lifts and only one set of traffic lights.

La Palma live cam. It's cranked up the fuming.

4.5 for Morocco this morning, plate pressure.

Drumbeat tremor pattern that appears on La Palma starting at sunup and stopping well after nightfall started in Jan. 2020. It doesn't appear in the graph history before this for years. Jackhammering didn't start till Dec., and these steady sharp tremors have been consistent for two years. It's not just one sensor, it's a calc of several monitors.

I can't buy the abrupt beginning and consistent 2 year history to islander activities. A steady daily wave pattern of 3-4 minutes duration that started way before the eruption. I've been on some big construction jobs, this pattern don't match up to road salvage. Pretty sure when the waters of the great flood poured out from here it left a big hole.
Guess that's where the fallen ones are.

No road work this weekend or today because of close proximality to increased gassing. Alerts are up and roadblocks.

So checking history of the other islands daytime activity, three others show the uptick in tremors also starting around 12/20. Same repeating pattern and well past night.

I remember on this thread early comments that the the volcano would boom and vent starting in the morning, and flow magma afterwards, then it progressed to non-stop.
