My Grandfather on my dads side,he was 65 when his heart exploded...But he smoked 6 packs a day,and had type 1 diabetes...And he was around 300 pounds when died! My uncle just died last year,type 1 ...he was 76,he was 350 pounds...Big Man...He let his diabetes go which killed his kidneys ! How the hell does someone smoke 6 packs a day???? Dayum! Chain smoke. I did up to 5 pks a day for 20 years and quit about about 1985. Cold fucking turkey. The thing is, I never had a weight problem until I quit smoking. It has been a royal battle ever since. What these A-Holes don't understand is that when your metabolism slows down, even eating almost nothing will not help you lose weight. I promised myself when I quit that when I reached 75 I could smoke again if I wanted and that is only a year away. maybe i'll start early to see if I can lose weight. I don't have the time or the crayons to explain this to you. Slake Blake |

So, there was evidently some morbidly obese man there, and before my ex knew it, my son ran over to him and started to ask the man how he got so fat. Then he called over to my ex and told him to come look at the fat man and that he had never seen anyone so fat. LOL! The poor guy. Quoting: GA Girl That isn't funny at all you monster. The ex turned it into a teachable moment and they had a nice talk with the obese man. What did you expect him to do about an uncomfortable situation? But yes, years later I still laugh about the things that little boy would come up with (hint - all of the above). Chill. And you act like obese people don't have any part in their own health. Obese people (with a few exceptions) are that way because they eat crap food and way too much of it. I saw a heavy teenager put away three plates of Thanksgiving feast topped off by 1/2 a pie and several other desserts yesterday - enough food for 3 days. Not really going to feel sorry for him in 20 years when a little kid asks him how he got so fat. |

Those statistics are pretty messed up as well and I challenge you to take a peek at what the New York Times had to say concerning race and covid. From memory, I believe if you are white, you have a 1 in 16000 chance of dying from covid. If you are black in this country, you die at a rate of 1 in 500. OT But, I believe China was tweaking this virus to thin out the African continent. They want the farmland, oil and minerals, but need the Sub Saharan population thinned down to just the workers they need. After all, who would be suspicious of another nasty pathogen emerging from the Sub Sahara? It just escaped before they were finished baking the cake. Quoting: Justme C'est Moi He weighed around 450 lbs most of his life and 5 ft 8 tall, chain smoked, and would drink a fifth of whiskey in the evening like it was a bottle of soda. I think he died prematurely at around 98 years old. LOL. When he was like a superman. He could lift the back end of a huge car and put it on jack stands. He could do a bunch of chin ups on the hay rack using just his one little finger (when he was on the farm and not so heavy) My dad was about the same strength, but was never over 300 lbs and 6 ft even. He didn't drink at all, and only smoked 2 packs of Marlboro's a day. He died at 87. Had a great, great uncle who was alive when I was little boy. He died at 97, just shy of his 98th birthday. He was 6'9" 325. He smoked, drank. Got remarried at 58 to a 31 year old waitress, quite the scandal in his day. his 56 year old, 120# wife died of cancer. He had six kids with two wives. Five with wife one, one with wife two. I loved him dearly. He was a combat engineer in WWI. He was cool as hell. He wasn't a front line guy because of his height, but he also served in WW2 in the Reserves. In early 1900s, he and his brothers, one a short fat bastard that lived to 84, shot out the electric street lamps in Eufaulua, Oklahoma because their cousin lost his job lighting the old gas lamps. I used to have the newspaper article. It was freaking hilarious! They all did their 30 days and a couple of them found their calling as electricians because they had to repair the lamps! Crazy as hell, but true. Cool. Oklahoma sure grows some big dudes.  |

Quoting: NotStarvingActress All bragged about how much they ate and the amount of liquor they consumed ie "I had the flu but cured it by drinking an entire bottle of cheap vodka in one day." ALL had numerous serious health issues like diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. NONE were willing to change their diet claiming that they hated the taste of anything remotely healthy. NONE exercised at all and (illegally) used the handicapped parking spaces rather than walk even 1/2 block. ALL tried to bilk the health care system to get freebies. Sorry but I have absolutely NO sympathy to those who complain re how society won't provide them with large enough chairs at restaurants which are sufficiently sturdy to hold their weight. The ones who make it that old are few and far between. |
