There is no denying it is crazy bright/strong especially compared to the mellow golden one from the 70s or so. Do not leave out the Moon it is much brighter nowadays as well, not long ago I put a thread on here remarking on how the Full moon made light patches on my floor/carpet inside my home... that right there? As i remember when i lived at the 5000 foot mark,as kid,then we moved to the low desert at about 300 foot level ...I noticed A WHITEER LIGHT IN MY MIND... And Then when i went to the mountains i Always noticed a Darker tint of Blue As we had a house up there too....Which Trees love the spectrum of light,so you see your going through different spectrum's of light the higher and lower you go in elevation .... My best guess is the lower you go on earth the Whiter the light sun...And the higher you go the darker the skies and darker the sun or oranger.... This is what i came to think...its why trees start to thrive around 4000 foot mark ....Its all about LIGHT SPECTRUM....Below 4000 foot sure you have trees but trees only thrive near the water with the FOG blocking out the sun most of the day...As i which i lived at the ocean ...hardly see the sun there... So in short,if you see Bright white sun,Move LOWER ELEVATION,and if you want DARKER TINTED YELLOW light ....Move HIGHER elevations ...Through the spectrum of the earth!! Im at the 3,500 foot height of the earth so the spectrum of the light is not so white...not so dark,either....Its not like going to low desert where everything is so freaking bright you need sunglasses on sunglasses (BRIGHT)And if you go the mountains you really dont need sunglasses around 6500 foot mark! Plus if you want more Trees move higher,If your away from the ocean...... Its just what i have OBserved in my life time to be being the case!....We live in spectrum zones ...
