He was shot during the fight. It seems stupid to me to start a fight against armed men. If they started messing with a rope, maybe, but I think their plan was just to arrest him and hand him over. What say ye? I don't have the time or the crayons to explain this to you. Slake Blake |

Quoting: Pilgrim001 That makes you a murderer, unless they had actually committed a crime. Which this man didn't. I understand there is footage of him "casing" a site...but the actual event never included a crime...just 3 boys riding up on a person, and getting into an altercation that resulted in a death with no reasonable cause. Your just going to have to suck it up, and realize they were wrong in what they did, according to THE LAW. Circumstances, former law enforcement, doesn't matter. If he had had a weapon..actual stolen goods on him...probable cause...I could see it happening that way....but thats NOT what happened. So innocent, and the prosecuted...GUILTY AS CHARGED. Your gun is a serious thing. Should never be taken likely, and has a HUGE responsibility attached to it. Thats what every Gun Owner needs to own. But I cant vouch in certain states, cuz your just looking guilty. Always remember these words: Work hard, study well, and eat and sleep plenty! That is the Turtle Hermit way! User ID: 81127134 Australia 11/25/2021 12:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That's the video which compelled me to believe MAYBE felony murder was an adequate charge. Because even though they don't know one another and never conspired before that point, it looks like they almost had unspoken communication in entrapping Arbery. If that is a felony, and it resulted in his death, even if accidental: felony murder. But I'm not totally convinced that constitutes a felony, especially given the full context of Arbery darting out of a building, in addition to previously been caught trespassing in a building where thousands of dollars of items were stolen (from a boat at the building), given they only need suspicion of him having committed a felony to citizens arrest. REMEMBER: the defendants are OWED reasonable doubt and a presumption of innocence. It is the states duty to prove guilt. You can clearly see it was Arbery's antics that set things in motion when you take the full context. Initially I thought the father and son had largely ended their pursuit and this random neighbour guy forced him back in their direction. If the above reenactment is correct, then that is not the way it played out. In addition the above reenactment makes mention but does not show the truck would have had to have gone in front of Arbery. If that is the case, it hardly seems like they can complain that Arbery was running to their truck. Even if malice murder for the son and felony murder were apt for the stranger, which I have a hard time believing, you've got to admit: Arbery had a role in this whole affair. Stop trespassing, looking around before you go in to make sure no one sees you and then dart out if you don't want to be suspected of wrongdoing. It is because of Arbery he is now dead and 3 men may spend the rest of their lives in prison (the prosecution didn't seek the death penalty). Last Edited by GooPile on 11/25/2021 12:35 PM GooPile |

Quoting: Pilgrim001 Why are you holding someone at gun point? Why don't you call 911 and just follow the guy? If I was walking/jogging down the street and some guys hops out of a truck and points a shotgun in my face, you bet I'm going to defend myself. I don't understand the guy following and filming it is guilty of anything. The other 2, can't say much to defend their actions. |
